Welcome To 1000
About 1000
1000 is a non-fiction, autobiographical comic made by me, Jacob Leighty. Unlike many other autobiographical comics, every comic took place in real life exactly as it appears here (save for #18). While this comic focuses on the humorous things in my life, you will also read about drama and action in it, as well. Although the initial goal for this comic is to get to 1000 comics, It will likely go past that number should I ever get there.

For a while now, I've noticed that 1000 was not viewable on mobile devices. I thought this was an issue all of Smack Jeeves had, but it turns out that it only applied to the template I was using! Well how about that. Anyways, to make it possible to read elsewhere, I've switched over to a new template. With it comes a new archive layout, which now firmly orders the comics by the chapters they've always been sorted into. This means that for first time readers, the first five comics you read will be #1, #2, #6, #34, and #116. I know it doesn't seem very intuitive, but it does make sense if you think about it, as those comics are about 7th grade. Because this could cause some confusion, I've decided to add title "panels" to the beginning and end of chapters to make it clear which section you're reading in. I'm still working on adding these, but you can already see an example of this on the first and last comics of 9th grade.

Thanks for reading!

While 1000 isnt going on hiatus, it IS going to let up on updates for the next month or so. So I'll still update, but not as frequently as I have. I'm getting sick of drawing in general, as I usually do around this time. Gimme a month and it'll pass.
